Love, laughter and muffins

3 years ago Mrs Ndaba, a wonderful and courageous 68-year-old woman, began a crèche in her little pink shack in Langrug (our local informal settlement). The need for good care, in the area, was so great that she soon had 67 toddlers - aged 2 to 6 - to look after. With absolutely no funding Mrs Ndaba has taken it upon herself to support, teach and love these young children.

At Le Quartier Français we believe in Mrs. Ndaba's cause. So much so that we've designed, with the help of a dietician, a highly nutritious muffin recipe for the crèche. These muffins are crammed full of all the daily nutritional requirements growing children need. We presently bake and deliver these muffins every Friday.
