A perfectly balanced treat
Culinary guests arrive at GlenWood wine farm and are welcomed by DP the winemaker. DP is a born and bred
"Franschhoeker" and, according to local lore, his Great Grandfather witnessed the last elephant leave the
Valley. Culinary guests will spend time with this bubbly local, enjoying a private tasting of his wines from
both the barrel and the bottle.
From here guests move down the Valley to Môreson the family winery. This charming farm is home to
award-winning wines and the affable Neil Jewell. Neil Jewell: the Head Chef of Bread & Wine, charcutier,
father, joker and meat-smoker - together with the Môreson Winemaker - will lead guests through a journey of wine and cured meats expertly paired with stories from Neil's well stocked pantry.
Culinary guests then relax and dine out on a scrumptious risotto served with a side of Neil's Jewells (Neil's
excellent cookbook).
Following lunch guests return to the village for dessert. At Huguenot Chocolates they'll indulge in the world
of chocolate - learning, tasting and enjoying the different types available. Delicious!
