Environmental awareness at LQF is one of the ways we're trying to do our little bit for the surrounding environment. To make a difference we:
- Reduce our energy consumption
- Use environmentally friendly & biodegradable products
- Ensure all room amenities are animal friendly
- Conserve water
- Recycling as much as possible
- Engineer our practices to ensure that they are sustainable
- Support disaster management initiatives

Education
At LQF we believe that education is a key component of successful individuals.Every year we take in 6 to 8 trainees from the local community and enrol them in our 3 year in house course.
Fund Raising
LQF helps raise funds for the local community through sponsorships and donations. To date funds totalling over 6 million rand have been raised. This money has funded the following:Building of crèchesProviding teachers for schoolsFunding of bursariesFunding of soccer tournamentsFunding of school equipment.
