The garden, designed by Sue Norman, showcases indigenous and unusual herbs personally selected by Margot Janse; and it serves as a private herb pantry for use in the exceptional dishes created - by Margot and her team - in The Tasting Room and The Common Room restaurants.
The Indigenous and Unusual Herb Garden, not content with being just a garden, will moonlight as a Contemporary Sculpture Garden. Ilse Schermers, is art Curator, is "confident that the latest addition to the is art offering is a big step forward for the South African art community.
